A few films worth watching
Pirates of the Caribbean
If you haven't seen this film yet, BIG MISTAKE! This film has all you need: Adventure, excitment, humour and two of the sexiest guys in film and for you guys Keira Knightly makes an appearance too! Oh and I forgot the SWORD FIGHTING, some great fencing scenes! Well worth a watch!
The Three Musketeers
This is a film about a boy's dream to join the musketeers, but on his journey to France he meets unexpected enemies of the King. When he uncovers a plot to assasinate the King, he has to prove himself as an expert swordsman and a trusted ally, with the help of three trustworthy musketeers. With Chris O'Donnell, Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland and Oliver Platt. This is an action packed adventure with plenty of comedy - ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL!
The Duelists
If you fence you simply must see this film. 'Gritty' and realistic, and beautifully filmed, the story of two officers in Napoleon's army who fight a series of duels. The short fused, obsessed Feraud (Harvey Kietal) skewers his latest victim who turns out to be the mayors nephew, Lt 'D' Hubert (Keith Carradine) who is ordered to place Feraud under house arrest for his deed. His rage is taken out on Lt 'D' Hubert, leading to much swordplay, the Sabre scene being particularly exhausting. IF YOU WATCH THIS BEFORE FENCING ON MONDAY, WE GUARANTEE YOU WILL FIGHT BETTER
